Double face dog clothing, made to measure in elegant, sporty yarn-dyed tartan fabric in shades of pink, yellow, orange, olive green and dark brown; cashmere and wool with tartan pattern on one side and olive green waterproof fabric on the other. At no additional cost you can request customization: the name of your puppy embroidered on the collar with the inverted fabric.

The squared pattern of the tartan is called “sett” and is repeated throughout the fabric with a constant frequency. To date there are endless variations available, all with different characteristics and colors. The first 33 sett present in the sixteenth century had a very specific task: to distinguish the 33 “houses” of the Highlands of Scotland, that is to say the Scottish regions. Each inhabitant of each region was therefore recognized by the tartan fabric he wore. It will be Queen Victoria who will make this fabric a status symbol, showing it off since 1800 during her stays at Balmoral. The influence will soon be felt also in Italy and especially in Florence, considered the second home of the English, a city that will often host the British monarch.

The classic tartan, back in fashion and present in the shows of the major brands, is reinterpreted in this coat for dogs in a contemporary guise, sartorially sewn with a very soft fabric, thanks to the presence of cashmere, but also resistant and practical, by virtue of the high-quality wool component. The comfortable belly band, which protects the abdomen from the cold and splashes of rain, is easily blocked on the side with two leather buttons: it has never been easier to make your four-legged friend wear the garment.

Thanks to its reversibility and the practical and fast closing system you can change the look of your dog in an instant and adapt this garment to the climatic variations.

Two soft elastic bands, placed in the back of the coat, guarantee perfect adherence to the dog’s body.  If you don’t want to use them, they can be hidden by turning them on the back.

If you use the harness, let your dog wear it, measure the distance between the neckline and the center of the ring where you attach the leash and report this measurement in the field below. We will make your garment with a buttonhole in the perfect position.
